We based the  A R C A D E M E  logo on the golden section or the golden ratio. It is believed that the Greeks thought that this proportion is divine, and that the famous Greek geometrician Pythagoras knew of this proportion. Through a system of geometric division beginning with triangle ABC we developed the basis for the logo. The resulting pyramid has an angle of 51.0266° from its sloped side to the horizontal. This is very close to the classical Egyptian pyramid angle.
